Do NOT test the bow thruster while the boat is out of the
water, unless you are certain that everyone is a safe
distance from the thrust tube.
Never allow the bow thruster to run for longer than 5
seconds with the boat is out of the water.

If 2 control panels are installed at separate helms, never
operate the bow thruster from both panels simultaneously.

12. Steering
Your boat comes equipped with a hydraulic steering system. The basic system for a single engine boat
contains a steering wheel, a hydraulic helm pump, a hydraulic steering cylinder, and hydraulic hoses. If
you purchase a Mercury Verado® six cylinder engine, the steering system includes an electric power
assisted steering pump to aid in the handling of the vessel.
To move the bow to the port direcon push the le buon. To move the bow to the starboard
direcon, push the right buon. To turn o the bow thruster controls, press the on/o switch once.
