28. Foredeck Seat Conversion
On the foredeck of your vessel, there is a single large backrest that can be adjusted for lounging in
mulple posions. When the backrests are stored in the at posion, the foredeck area provides
ample space for sunbathing.
The standard backrest allows adjustment in ve dierent posions. To convert the backrest, simply li
up on it. On the back side, you will see a support bracket that can be locked into four dierent
posions. Placing the support bracket in the rst locking cleat will convert the backrest into a “Chaise
Lounge”, while the other locking cleat will convert the backrest to a more upright seang.
As an opon, your boat might be equipped with a gas assist backrest. To adjust, rst, unlock the
backrest by rotang the latch located on the starboard a corner. Next, simply pull the lever located
on the starboard side of the backrest. Release the lever when the desired posion of the backrest is
achieved. To return the backrest to the a level posion, pull the lever and push down on the backrest.
Make sure to lock the backrest when at a level posion to minimize the risk of it accidently coming up
and blocking the view from the helm.
Visibility from the helm is limited when the foredeck
backrests are in either the “Chaise Lounge” or upright seat
posion. Do not operate the boat at high speeds when
people are using the foredeck area.
