Visual Search Stop Action Pause
l During playback, press and hold F.FWD
(fast forward) if you want to visually search
the tape forward. Release F. FWD to return to
normal playback.
l During playback, press pause
(II)
(PAUSE on
remote) to “stop the action” and view one frame
of the tape.
l During playback, press and hold REW
(rewind) if you want to visually search the
tape in reverse. Release REW to return to
normal playback.
Notes:
During search,
it is
normal for some streaks to
appear in the picture.
The sound is muted
during search.
Caution:
Pause is designed for momentary
interruptions and should not be used for an
extended period of time. If the camcorder
remains in the pause mode for more than five
minutes, it will automatically move the tape
away from the spinning heads to prevent
excessive tape wear.

During playback, you can display the displays
in the viewfinder on the TV screen

Press DISPLAY on remote to see displays on
the TV screen.

Press DISPLAY again to remove the displays.
l Press the button again
