Replacing batteries
Remove screw 1, open the unit
(using a coin, for example) and
replace battery 2 according to the
direction marked on the cover.
Note: When replacing the battery, it
is advisable not to touch the
electronic circuit in the key cover.
Do not dump your used
batteries in the country-
side, give them to an
organisation responsible
for collecting and recycling
batteries.
The batteries can be obtained from
your RENAULT Dealer.
These batteries should last about
two years. There is a delay of
1 second between locking and
unlocking actions.
Synchronizing the remote
control
After changing the batteries, it may
be necessary to synchronize the
remote control.
From inside the vehicle:
• Press the plip remote control for
approximately 10 seconds until
battery indicator light 3 goes out;
• Release and then press it twice in
succession.
If this procedure is not successful,
contact your RENAULT Dealer.
