REAR SEATS: OPERATION (continued)
To lower the seatback of a side seat
Lift lever 3, lower the seatback and
check that it is correctly locked in
place.
To return the seatback to its
original position
Lift lever 3, lift the seatback and
check that it is correctly locked in
place.
To fold down the rear seats
Push the seatback down until it
locks.
The seat must be locked on vehicles
fitted with fore and aft adjustment
of the rear seats. To do this, raise the
bar 5 on the seat in question and
slide it to the rear until it locks.
Release bar 5.
Raise the handle 4 andpushtheseat
forward onto the seats in front.
Retain the seats in the folded down
position using the straps 6 located
under each seat.
To do this, attach the straps to the
rods on the front head restraints.
When moving the rear
seats, check that there is
nothing obstructing the
anchor points (there
should be no gravel, cloth, toys,
etc.).
