1. Cleaning Air Intake Filter
To properly maintain the water heater, you should check air intake lter every month. If not, you will encounter a problem with
combustion specications.
To clean air intake lter:
1. Press the Power button on the control panel to
turn off the water heater.
2. Disconnect the power supply from the water
heater.
3. If the water heater has been operating, wait for it
to cool before continuing.
4. Remove the 4 screws on the front cover of the
water heater.
5. Remove the lter screen screw and pull the lter
out of the air intake adapter.
6. Clean it with a toothbrush and clean running wa-
ter.
7. Dry the lter completely. Then reinsert the lter into the plastic assembly and tighten the lter screen
screw.
8. Replace the front cover of the water heater cabinet. Reconnect power supply to the water heater.
9. Press the Power button on the control panel to turn on the water heater.

To clean air supply vent:
Check for debris or blockage from dust, oil, etc. at the air supply vent. If blocked, remove the build-up with a vacuum cleaner or
damp towel. (Do not permanently remove the inlet screen.)
