Chapter 10 Waveform Record RIGOL
DS2000E User’s Guide 10-3
capacity of the waveform memory is fixed, the more the number of points each
frame of waveform has, the less the number of waveform frames can be
recorded. Thus, the maximum end frame of waveform record is determined by
the currently selected memory depth. Please refer to the instruction in
"Memory Depth" to select the desired memory depth.
Note
[1]
: Memory depth = Sample rate × Horizontal time base × Number of grids horizontally
on the screen. Wherein, for DS2000E, "Number of grids horizontally on the screen" is 14.
Therefore, when the memory depth is set to "Auto", the maximum number of end frames for
waveform recording is also related to "Sample rate" and "Horizontal time base".
Table 10-1 Memory Depth and Maximum Number of Recorded Frames (In this
example, only a single channel is turned on)
Memory Depth Maximum End Frame
7 Kpts 8128
70 Kpts 508
700 Kpts 63
7 Mpts 7
28 Mpts 2
