 The [Service] menu opens.
The following sub-menus and functions are contained in the "Service" menu:
• [Cleaning] starts a cleaning programme.
• [Rinsing] starts a machine rinse.
• [Flavour Point] opens the two sub-menus [Replace Flavour bottle] and [Clean Flavour sys-
tem]. Both activate a Display assistant (wizard) which guides you through the steps.
• [Clean touch screen] opens a "countdown" of [30 sec]. For this period of time, the display
is not touch-sensitive and is ready for cleaning.
• [Quickinfo On] displays the "Quickinfo" window in the top right corner of the touch screen.
If pressed and held, the Quickinfo window can be moved to any place in the display.
• [Standby], the machine is switched off into "Standby" mode.
• [Cancel] closes the "Service" menu again.

► Switch on the machine.
Option 1: [Barista Silver] standard
► Press the [Service] field at the top right.
 The selection menu opens.
► Select the [Quickinfo] function.
 The "Quickinfo" window is placed at the top right.
► If necessary, place the "Quickinfo" window at any point in the display with
[Select > Hold >Move].
Option 2: [Operator service mode]
► Press the [Service] field at the bottom left.
 The selection menu opens.
► Select the [Quickinfo] function.
 The "Quickinfo" window is placed at the top right.
► If necessary, place the "Quickinfo" window at any point in the display with
[Select > Hold >Move].
Quickinfo provides information on the following temperatures:
• (c) shows the coffee boiler temperature.
• (t) shows the tea boiler temperature (option).
• (s) shows the steam boiler temperature (option).
• (b) shows the booster temperature.
• (Out) shows the current activity of c, t, s and b.
• (M) shows
Optional accessories (Option)
Option 1: Cooling unit for the Milk Smart system
► Set the temperature switch on the back of the cooling unit, see arrow.
 The cooling unit is switched on.
The "Quickinfo" window appears at the top right in the display. It possible that this will cover
the [Service] field in "Barista Silver" mode.
