Considerations for connecting device
● Use shielded, twisted pair cable (wire gauge AWG 22 to AWG 14/ 0.34 mm

to 2.08 mm

).
● Separate cables and conduits may be required to conform to standard instrumentation
wiring practices, or electrical codes.
● If cable is routed through conduit, use only approved suitable-size hubs for waterproof
applications.
● Non-metallic enclosure does not provide a continuous ground path between conduit
connections: use grounding-type bushings and jumpers.

Initial connection
The display is not connected to the device when shipped. If this is not initial connection, remove
the display before wiring. See Remove existing display (Page 44).
