● Repair must be carried out by Siemens authorized personnel only.

Risk of electric shock.
● Avoid working on the device when it is energized.
● If working on an energized device is necessary, ensure that the environment is dry.
● Make sure when carrying out cleaning and maintenance work that no moisture penetrates
the inside of the device.
8.3.1 Replacing the display
8.3.1.1 Remove existing display
To remove display for wiring or to replace a damaged display, follow steps below:
1. Turn lid by hand in a counter-clockwise direction to remove it from device.
2. Remove display by gently turning the display a quarter turn counter-clockwise, to free it
from the enclosure.
3. Pull up to disconnect display cable from connector. The display is now free to lift out of
enclosure.
(Dispose of a damaged display according to local regulations.)
