7.5 Removal
Turn off the device. Remove the operating panel and place it into the case. Clamp
off the negative pole of the vehicle battery for the duration of the disassembly
process. First remove the front frame of the device. Then insert the two release
keys into the openings on both sides of the front of the device and slide these as
far as the stops. Make sure that the protrusions on the release keys (Abb. 8.2)
point away from the device during the insertion. Slowly and carefully pull out the
device. Detach all connectors (i.e. plugs and antenna) from the device.
Note:
Make sure that no vehicle cable can cause a short circuit after the device has been unplugged.
