20 Troubleshooting
If a fault occurs, please consider these instructions before you have the device repaired. If you are unable to solve a problem
despite these instructions, please ring our hotline. Do not try repairing the device yourself under any circumstances. In that
event, the warranty would be void.
Problem Cause Solution
The frame cannot be
slid off the device
towards the rear.
The safety screws were not removed. Please remove the safety screws and try again.
The release key was not inserted correctly. Reinsert the key. Make sure that the protrusion on the
release key points away from the device during the
insertion.
The device does not
play any music.
The connection cables have not been
attached correctly.
Please check if all cables have been attached correctly.
The “MUTE” or “pause” button is pressed. Press the “MUTE” or “pause” button again.
The device cannot be
turned on.
On / off button was pressed too briefly. Keep the on / off button pressed longer.
The operating panel is not inserted
correctly.
Reinsert the operating panel.
The ignition is turned off. Turn on the ignition
The connection cables have not been
attached correctly.
Please check if all cables have been attached correctly.
The fuse is blown. Replace the fuse.
The device does not
retain the stored
stations.
The radio has not been connected
correctly.
Please check if all cables have been attached correctly.
The device temperature is too high. Reduce the volume of the device.
Contacts 4 and 7 have not been connected
properly or the vehicle manufacturer has
assigned these in reverse.
Remove the transparent plugs on the yellow and red
cable and plug them back together crosswise (yellow to
red and red to yellow).
CD is not being
drawn in completely.
The two safety screws were not removed,
or not entirely.
Please remove the safety screws and try again.
