How to enter the location*
Use the navigator to go to Location menu and activate
this menu item. The menu illustrated is displayed.
In the first field Location enter the name of the airport or
building where the HI-SCAN X-ray unit is installed, in the
second field Subsite indicate the X-ray unit installation
site inside the building. You can enter a maximum of 8
characters per field.
Exit the menu with
r.
How to assign the views to the monitors*
(only for dual view units)
In dual view units, two views of the baggage or freight
items are displayed on the two monitors.
One monitor shows the scanning view from the top or
from the bottom, the second one shows the scanning
view from the side.
If you want to change the assignment between the
views and monitors, select in the View/monitor as-
signment menu item the opposite setting.

In units equipped with TIP system* the
Location menu can also be selected
from the TIP menu (F 257-57).

If the TIP system* is used (F 2-50) it is indispensable to fill in the fields Location and Subsite cor-
rectly to guarantee a useful application of the TIP reports!1500
