SELECT CONTROLS
PERCUSS (KEYBOARD PERCUSSION and DRUM KIT SELECTION) -
When keyboard percussion has been engaged, the entire key-
board will play the percussion voices from the selected Drum kit.
These voices are graphically depicted above the keys. There
are five drum kits, based on the Standard Kit, that can be as-
signed. Please see the “Drum List” at the back of this manual for
a complete listing.
1. Press the PERCUSS button, the display screen will show the
currently selected drum kit number with a “P-” prefix.
2. Use the + button to increase the drum kit number or the – button
to decrease the drum kit number from P-1 to P-5. The number
pad can also be used to directly enter a value ranged from 1 to 5.
Press the +, – buttons simultaneously to recover the default
setting of P-1, Standard.
3. Press the PERCUSS button again to disengage the keyboard
percussion mode, the display will revert to the currently selected
voice number.
ONE TOUCH - When the one touch engaged the piano will automatically
change the four orchestration parts and their voice selections, to
a predetermined optimum setting in one quick operation. There is
a one touch setting for each rhythm style. When you change the
rhythm style, with the one touch feature engaged, the one touch
settings will immediately change to the new style. The selected
one touch settings may be edited to create a unique setting of
your own.
1. Press the ONE TOUCH button turn engage the one touch feature,
the indicator light will turn on. The ideal settings for the selected
rhythm style will be engaged.
2. If the rhythm style is changed, the ideal settings for the new
rhythm style will change automatically, while the one touch feature
is engaged. Please see the Rhythm section for more information
about choosing a rhythm style.
3. Press the ONE TOUCH button again to disengage the one touch
feature, the indicator light will turn off.
