3. Remove the reservoir tank cap and add 50 : 50 mix-
ture of engine coolant and distilled water to the “F”
(Full) level from the engine coolant filler hole.
4. Reinstall the reservoir tank cap.
5. Reinstall the fuel tank.
6. Reinstall the frame covers.
7. Reinstall the prop stay.
8. Reinstall the seat.

ENGINE OIL
Check the engine oil level through the engine oil
inspection window with the motorcycle held vertically
on level ground.
1. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes
at idling speed.
2. Turn off the engine and wait about three minutes,
then check the oil level through the inspection win-
dow.
3. If the level is below the “L” (Low) mark, add oil to “F”
(Full) level.
If the level is above the “F” (Full) mark, drain oil to
“F” (Full) level.
4. Reinstall the drain plug and engine oil filler plug.
Tighten them securely.
Oil drain plug: 21 N·m (2.1 kgf-m)
A: Engine oil filler plug
B: Engine oil level inspection window
This motorcycle is shipped from factory with
the engine filled with engine oil.
Be sure to check oil level.
