3. FUNCTIONS
3.1. ON/OFF
SysAqua can be switched on and off in different ways:
² External input: The unit is
operating if the contact is closed.
Shutdown by this input has
priority
² User interface: The operation
can be started by the onboard
or online (HMI1Web) graphic
interface status menu
² GTC: the operation can be
controlled by a GTC through different communication protocols (Refer to the § COMMUNICATION,
page 11).
The shutdown sequence for the unit overrides the minimum operation time of the actuators. However, the
operation sequence takes these times into account.
The deicing sequence has priority over the request to shutdown the unit.
The external contact has priority over the other operating modes when shutting down the SysAqua.
However, if the mode is off on the user interface or GTC, the unit remains shutdown whatever the status of
the external contact.
The operating of the SysAqua through the user interface has priority over a GTC shutdown request.
3.2. OPERATING MODE
This parameter is not accessible for the "Cool only" units.
If the unit is reversible, its operating mode can be dened:
Automatic mode
Heat mode
Cool mode
The current mode can be viewed on the home page of the user interface as well as by the communication
networks:
² Modbus: actual operating mode (0x0002)
² Bacnet: “Actual operating mode"
The mode can be selected either
² By the external contact: For this, the external contact must be congured in "Heating" mode.
This can be congured in the "Service" menu via the "Conguration" screen (Refer to the §
CONFIGURATION, page 12). A closed contact on this input corresponds to the heat mode, if it is
open, to the cool mode. If this contact is congured, it has priority.
² By the user
interface: Go
to the user menu and modify the operating mode on the
relevant line.
² By the GTC: The selection is made by the remote operating
mode variable
(holding register: 0x0000 in modbus)
