4.4. 4-WAY VALVE
The 4-way valve is powered in heating mode and not powered in cool mode.
The 4-way valve can only be deactivated in one of the two conditions
² The compressor stops for more than one minute
² The difference between the condensation pressure and the evaporation pressure is less than 4 barg
4.5. CRANKCASE HEATER SYSAQUA 140/150/170/190/210
The heating resistances are powered:
² On startup of the SysAqua for a period of 30 minutes. The start of the compressors is blocked during
this period. If the SysAqua is not powered during less than 3 hours, this preheating is not done.
² If one of the circuit compressors does not operate for more than 15 minutes.
4.6. PUMP
For a single or double pump, the pump operates as long as the SysAqua is not in OFF mode.
If the SysAqua has the double pump option, the operating priority will be the rst motor of the pump. The
rst pump motor will be stopped and replaced by the second in the following cases:
² First motor issued order but no ow is detected
² Thermal security of the rst motor is activated.
4.7. ANTI-FREEZE RESISTANCE
The temperatures are measured by NTC sensors.
The sensors are considered to be disconnected if the temperature is less than -40°C
The sensors are considered as having a short circuit if the measured temperature is greater than 80°C
(150°C for the backow temperature)
Specic case for outside air measurement
The temperature recorded in the control is different from the measured temperature:
² In normal operation, the value recorded is the sliding average of the measured value over 5 minutes
² In deicing phase, the value recorded is the last value of the average before the start of deicing
² If the SysAqua is off, the outside temperature is not updated
² If the SysAqua was started
and the SysAqua was switched off less than 15 minutes, so the outside air temperature is
not updated
Otherwise, this temperature is equal after 90s of fan operation
The SysAqua is shut down if the pump fails. These failures can be:
² External pump: no ow detected
² Single pump:
Pump activated and no ow
Thermal protection of the pump activated
² Double pump (SysAqua 140/150/170/190/210):
Second pump motor activated and no ow
Thermal protection of the two motors activated
4.8. THERMISTORS
This protective system can be triggered if the SysAqua is off and the water temperature drops too low. Refer
to the § ANTI-FREEZE PROTECTION, page 22. for more information.
