OP Setting of the output to release the analogue output.
Setting range: OP 1 = The analogue output is only released if the output is also
switched on. (ex works = --)
OP -- = The analogue output is not assigned to the output.
Function check F CHCK
Some countries only offer subsidies for the installation of solar thermal systems if the con-
trol units have a function check to detect a sensor defect and a lack of circulation. In the
menu command F CHCK, the mechanic can activate this function check for the ESR31. This
function check is disabled ex works.
OFF: The function check is not active.
ON: The function check is active. Monitoring makes most sense in solar thermal systems.
The following system statuses and sensors are monitored:
An interruption or short circuit of one or more sensors.
Circulation problems - an error message is issued if the output is active and the differential
temperature between collector S1 and tank S2 is greater than 60K for more than 30
minutes.
The error messages are entered in the menu Status.
If Status is blinking, a malfunction has been detected (see “The status display Status”).
If the control output is set to "STAT N" or "STAT I" and the function control is activated,
then if an error occurs, the control output is switched over. Subsequently the auxiliary relay
HIREL-STAG can be used to forward this error message to a signalling device.
