b . Connect the test oscilloscope and its 10 Χ p robe tip to
the front end of R 707 (toward the front p anel) which is locat-
ed on the Timing circuit board .
b . Connect α 50-mV standard-am p litude signal via α
50- Ω cable to the CH 1 or Χ input connector .
ε . ADJUST- Χ Gain (R760) for exactly 5-divisions of

orizontal deflection .
d . Disconnect the test equipment from the instrument .

e . CHECK-The Α -Sweep h oldoff h as increased by α
factor of 10 or more .
α . Connect the leveled sine-wave generator output via α
50- Ω cable and α 50- Ω termination to the CH 1 OR Χ i nput

f . Disconnect
the test oscilloscope 10 Χ p robe from
connector .

