power source
voltage range
and check the
fuse size
as
indicated on the
instrument rear
panel.
Check that
the POWER switch is
off.

indicator is not lit.

Connect
the power cord to the
instrument and the
power source.

Pull on the
POWER switch. Let the
instrument warm up
for
5
minutes,
if it was
stored
at or
above
a 0°C
(-^32°F) ambient temperature;
other-
wise, 20
minutes.

For the best
overall performance of the
instrument, the
checkout pro-
cedures should
be made within an
ambient temperature
range
of
+20°
to
+30°
