Troubleshooting an RS-232 Bus
In t his example, you are looking at analog characteristics of a digital signal in a digital circuit. You are doing this to analyze the
signal integrity of a signal. For example, you m ight be testing RS-232 bus signals.
Basic Strategy
First, you will d isplay and acquire th e digital signal. Then, you will look at both th e analog and digital representations of the signal.
Finally, you will search thro ugh each RS-232 byte with the search/mark functions.
