Selecting Programme Positions
The time display facility allows the current (text service)
time to be seen on the television screen.

whilst watching a normal television
broadcast to see a time display from the broadcaster. It
will remain on screen for about 5 seconds.
NOTE: This display may not always be available.
Time Display (ATV only)
The Quick Menu gives fast access to various features,
i.e. Picture Mode, Picture Size, Sleep Timer, Media
Player etc.
The availability of the various features is dependant on
the current mode and input source.
To access the Quick Menu, press QUICK then use

z
and
x
to select the features and to select options.
Quick Menu
If stereo or dual language broadcasts are transmitted the
word Stereo or Dual will appear on the screen each time
programme positions are changed, disappearing after a
few seconds. If the broadcast is not in stereo the word
Mono will appear.
For ATV programmes
Stereo… Press
OI/II to select Stereo or Mono.
Bilingual… Bilingual transmissions are rare. If they are
transmitted the word Dual will display. Choose the
required programme number and if the word Dual
appears press
OI/II to select Dual 1, Dual 2 or Mono.
For DTV programmes
For stereo or dual mono broadcasts, press OI/II and use
z
or
x
to select settings.
The settings are as follows:

Stereo and Bilingual Transmissions
To select a programme position use the numbered
buttons on the remote control.
Programme positions can also be selected using PP and
P Q.
To display on-screen information i.e. programme position,
channels, stereo/mono signal, signal strength, date and
time, press . Press again to cancel. The information
shown will vary depending on whether the television is in
DTV or ATV mode.
Press ATV/DTV at any time to select between DTV TV,
DTV RADIO, DTV TEXT and ATV modes.
