The timers (continued)
The On Timer sets the television to turn on automatically
to a selected channel at a certain time of day or after a
certain length of time.
Setting the On Timer

In the APPLICATIONS menu, press

to select
On Timer then press OK.

to highlight Enable On Timer, then

to select On.
Press

to highlight Enable DTV Clock, then

to select On.

to go through the list adding
details to the on timer by using the number
buttons as well as
z

x
to make selections.
Press OK to save the timer. The Green timer
indicator on the front of the television will indicate
that the timer has been set.
NOTE: When an external input is selected in the
Input option the Channel option will no longer
be available.
The Repeat option is only available when
Enable DTV Clock is set to On.

The Sleep Timer turns the television off after a
certain time.

In the APPLICATIONS menu, press

to select
Sleep Timer.
Using the number buttons set the required time.
For example, to switch the television off in one
and a half hours enter 01:30, or press
z
or
x
to
increase/decrease in steps of 10 minutes.
Press EXIT to finish.
To cancel the Sleep timer, enter zero in the
option.
To cancel the On Timer menu, use
e
to select
Enable On Timer.
Use
z
or
x
to select Off.

The Time until Power On option is only
available when Enable DTV Clock is set to Off.
PLEASE NOTE: When a timed programme is
about to start, an information screen will appear
offering the option of watching or cancelling the
programme. The menus and other channels will
not be available during the timed programme
unless the programme timer is cancelled.
If the television is turned off using the
i
/
I
POWER
button any programmes set in the timers will be
cancelled.
It is possible to set the timers to record, the media
recorder will need to be AV link compatible.
