DTV settings – subtitles, audio languages,
common interface
This feature allows a programme or film to be viewed with
a choice of soundtrack language, provided they are
currently being broadcast.

In the Subtitle and Audio menu press
e
to
select Audio Type and use
z
or
x
to select
Normal or Hard of Hearing.
Press
e
to select Primary Audio Language
or Secondary Audio Language and use
z
and
x
to select an option.
NOTE: If more than one soundtrack is available,
use OI/II to select between them.
When in digital mode this feature will show subtitles on the
bottom of the screen in the selected language provided
they are being broadcast.

From the SETUP menu press

to select DTV
Settings. Press OK.
Press

to highlight Subtitle and Audio,
then press OK.

to select Subtitle Type and use

to select Normal or Hard of Hearing.

or Secondary Subtitle Language and use

to select an option.
Press the SUBTITLE button to select on or off, or
choose if more than one of the selected
languages are available.
The Common Interface Slot, situated on the side of the
television, enables the insertion of a CAM (Conditional
Access Module) and card. These are purchased from a
service provider and allow additional subscription
broadcasts to be viewed. For information contact a
service provider.

Insert the CAM and card into the Common
Interface Slot, following the instructions provided
with the CAM. A box will appear on screen to
confirm that the CAM is loaded.
In the DTV Settings menu press

f
to
select Common Interface and press OK.
Details of the CAM should now be available.
