Registering products from other types of control units
The remote control can also operate products
registered in another type of VELUX or
io-homecontrol
®
control unit if they are trans-
ferred to the remote control.
The example shows how to register products from
from a one-way VELUX remote control B in a two-
way VELUX remote control A.
Steps 1 and 2 must be completed within
10 minutes, so please read items 1-6 before
proceeding.
Step 1: Control unit B
Set the control unit into configuration mode by
pressing the RESET button at the back for at least
5 seconds.
Note: For other types of io-homecontrol
®
control
units, please refer to the instructions provided with
the product in question to execute step 1.
Step 2: Remote control A
Press
"Menu".
Scroll through the menus:
Press to highlight "Register product".
Press
"Enter" to confirm your choice.
Automatic registration is running.
The display shows that the new product(s) has/
have been registered.
Now the product(s) must be placed. Please refer
to the instructions in section Registering a new pro-
duct, item 7a and onwards.
