6.7 Adjusting the Fuel Pressure
Factory
setting
“F” head: 150 psig (10.0 bar)
Procedure
Follow the procedure below to check and adjust the fuel pressure.
1. Shut down the machine.
2. Remove the bleeder valve (a) from the fuel pump.
3. Insert the gauge in place of the bleeder valve.
4. If your machine has a generator, start it.
5. Move the burner ON-OFF switch to ON. The burner will go through a pre-purge
cycle. Monitor and make adjustments during the pre-purge cycle.
6. Turn the adjusting screw (b) clockwise to increase fuel pressure,
counterclockwise to decrease fuel pressure.
Result
The fuel pressure has now been adjusted.
