3 Grasp the toner cover
with one hand so that your
thumb can press against
the release tab. Lift the
cover up and away from
the printer and set it aside.
Be careful not to spill any
toner on other parts of the
printer or on yourself.

4 Remove a toner cartridge from its box and shake the car-
tridge vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.
