6 Reinstall the prop place you removed at the outset of this
process.
7 Add paper, making sure the feed edge is appropriate for the
paper size you have chosen.
Check the chart on page 2-10 to find the proper feed edge. Make
sure you remove the top and bottom sheets and follow the paper
manufacturers instructions about which side to print first.
8 Reinsert the upper paper cassettes.
9 Turn on the printer and wait for the tray to rise.
Attaching the Large-Capacity
Output Stacker
The Large-Capacity Output Stacker, which is an option for the 3825
Print System. stacks up to 2,750 sheets of 24 lb (90 g/m
2
) paper in
letter or A4 size.
Because changes are needed to the system table before the LCOS
can be installed, only a QMS-authorized service representative can
make the initial installation.
Once the initial installation is complete, it is easy to attach and
remove the stacker, if necessary. Remember:
You must change the power cord connections every time you
attach or remove the stacker.
You must use the stacker power switch as the main switch for the
entire print system whenever the stacker is attached.
Once the system table has been prepared to handle the LCOS, follow
these directions:
1 Turn off and unplug the printer.
2 Line up the pegs on the stacker with the slots on the printer.
3 Rock one side up so the peg catches. Then rock the other
side so it catches.
