Lower casing cap assembly
1. Install:
9Oil seals
NOTE:
Use the special tools to install the oil seals
(one by one) until stopping the bottom.
Driver rod 1:
YB-06229/90890-06652
Needle bearing attachment 2:
YB-06230/90890-06649
2. Install:
9Propeller shaft bearing
NOTE:
9Install the ball bearing with its manufac-
turer’s marks
a facing the reverse gear.
9Use the special tools, press the bearing
into the bottom of the casing cap.

Driver rod 2:
YB-06071/90890-06606
Lower casing cap inspection
1. Clean:
9Lower casing cap
Use a soft brush and solvent.
2. Inspect:
9Lower casing cap
Crack/Damage ® Replace.
3. Assemble:
9O-ring 1
9Thrust washer 2
9Reverse gear 3
to Propeller shaft ass’y
9Lower case cap 4
