CHECKING AND CHARGING THE BATTERY/
CHECKING THE FUSE
15.Lubricate:
battery terminals
16.Close the lid 1 and hook the battery band
2.
17.Install:
right side cover
rear panel
center cover
Refer to INSTALLING THE SEAT AND
SIDE COVERS.
18.Close the seat.
Recommended lubricant
Dielectric grease

CHECKING THE FUSE
CAUTION:
_
To avoid a short circuit, always set the
main switch to OFF when checking or
replacing a fuse.
1. Open the seat.
2. Unhook the battery band 1 and open the
lid 2.
3. Check:
fuse
▼▼▼ ▼▼▼ ▼▼▼ ▼▼▼ ▼▼▼ ▼▼▼ ▼▼▼
a. Connect the pocket tester to the fuse and
check the continuity.
NOTE:
_
Set the pocket tester selector to × 1.
b. If the pocket tester indicates , replace
the fuse.
