Checklist
Do the steps in section General safety information on page 8, before you start the
work. Go through the checklist together with another person.
DANGER
High voltage!
Obey the instructions in chapter Safety instructions. If you ignore them, injury or
death, or damage to the equipment can occur.
Before starting to work on the drive, make sure:
• that the main and auxiliary power supply to the drive is switched off, locked
out, and tagged out
• that the drive is dead
• that safety ground connections are in place
• that personal protective equipment is provided and used when required
• that everyone involved is informed.
Before energizing the drive, make sure:
• that all foreign objects are removed from the drive
• that all internal and external covers are securely fastened and all doors are
closed, locked and / or bolted
• that the release dials of safety switches are in the locked position.
WARNING
Obey the instructions in chapter Safety instructions. If you ignore them,
injury or death, or damage to the equipment can occur.
NOTICE! The field engineer should confirm that the power cables are connected to
the correct busbar before switching on the main power.
Otherwise, the power
modules would be irreversible damaged.
