To recover your Infiniium hard disk
Your Infiniium oscilloscope comes with a recovery CD-ROM called the User’s
Hard Drive Recovery Disk. You should use the recovery CD-ROM to restore
your hard drive in the rare event that something may have destroyed the
Windows operating system or the Infiniium application software.
The Infiniium hard disk recovery system consists of a CD-ROM containing the
Windows operating system and the Infiniium application software. If you have
to use the recovery CD-ROM, the Infiniium hard disk is returned to the condition
it was in when it left the factory.
1 Put Recovery CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive located on the rear panel.
2 Turn off the Infiniium.
3 Turn on the Infiniium. Infiniium will boot from Recovery CD-ROM
4 Follow the onscreen instructions.
5 Once the installation is complete, remove the Recovery CD-ROM from
the CD-ROM drive.
6 Turn off the Infiniium.
7 Turn on the Infiniium.
The Infiniium application software that you just installed is the version that
originally came with your Infiniium. There may be a newer version of the
Infiniium application software available at our web site that can be ordered for
