L Note:
When removing a front or rear
wheel, you are recommended
to use the auxiliary stand,
special tool No. 00 1 560,
which is available from your
BMW motorcycle dealer.
Attaching/removing the
auxiliary stand
e Attention:
Switch off the engine before
installing the stand.
Make sure that there is a firm
surface under the stand.
Support the motorcycle on its
side stand
Place auxiliary stand 3
beneath the motorcycle
–Knob1 on the left-hand
side of the motorcycle
Pull out locking pin 2
Pull out knob 1 and secure it
with locking pin 2
