Changing fuses

e Attention:

Before changing a fuse, switch

off the ignition.

• Make sure the ground is level

and firm, and park the motor-

cycle on its side stand

• Remove the left side cover

• Squeeze the spring clips

together and pull off the cover

• Remove the defective fuse

from its socket

• Insert a new fuse of the cor-

rect rating

• Place the cover in position

and press it down until the

spring clips engage with an

audible click

• Install the left side cover

L Note:

If a fuse blows repeatedly have

the electrical system checked

by a specialist workshop, pref-

erably an authorised BMW

motorcycle dealer.
