Changing fuses
e Attention:
Before changing a fuse, switch
off the ignition.
Make sure the ground is level
and firm, and park the motor-
cycle on its side stand
Remove the left side cover
(
b 38)
Squeeze the spring clips
together and pull off the cover
Remove the defective fuse
from its socket
Insert a new fuse of the cor-
rect rating
Place the cover in position
and press it down until the
spring clips engage with an
audible click
Install the left side cover
L Note:
If a fuse blows repeatedly have
the electrical system checked
by a specialist workshop, pref-
erably an authorised BMW
motorcycle dealer.
