6.8.3 Connecting the heating circuit module
▶ Connect the heating circuit module to the connection EMS (
Chapter 12.4 on page 40).
If an accessory is already connected at the EMS connection:
▶ Connect heating circuit modules at the EMS connection parallel to
the accessory which is already installed ( Chapter 12.4 on
page 40).
6.8.4 Room temperature-dependent controller
For cooling operation, the connection of a room temperature-dependent
controller is absolutely essential.
The relay output PK2 ( Chapter 12.4, page 40) is active during
cooling operation and can be used to control a fan-assisted convector
heater or a recirculation pump in the cooling circuit.
As an option, underfloor heating circuits in damp areas (e.g. bathroom or
kitchen) can be controlled via the indoor unit.
▶ Connect the control of the respective appliance to connection PK2.
With the installation of a room thermostat in addition to the EMS
connection, note:
▶ Use wire ferrules to ensure that the individual wires remain in the
clamping points.
Room thermostat with integrated dew point monitor (humidity
sensor) (CR10H or ModuLine 1010H; recommended)
When installing a room thermostat with integrated dew point monitor:
▶ Connect the room thermostat to the connection EMS ( Chapter
12.4 on page 40).
If an accessory is already connected at the EMS connection:
▶ Connect the room thermostat at the connection EMS parallel to the
accessory which is already installed ( Chapter 6.8.1 on page 23).
Room thermostat without integrated dew point monitor (humidity
sensor) (CR10 or ModuLine 1010)
When installing a room thermostat without integrated dew point
monitor:
▶ Connect the room thermostat to the connection EMS ( Chapter
12.4 on page 40).
If an accessory is already connected at the EMS connection:
▶ Connect the room thermostat at the connection EMS parallel to the
accessory which is already installed ( Chapter 6.8.1 on page 23).
6.8.5 Connecting the dew point monitor
For cooling operation, the installation of a dew point monitor
(accessory) is absolutely essential.
▶ Connect the dew point monitor to the connection MK2 ( Chapter
12.4 on page 40).
6.8.6 Connecting the swimming pool mixer
▶ Connect the swimming pool mixer to the EMS connection (
Chapter 12.4 on page 40 [6]).
If an accessory is already connected at the EMS connection:
▶ Connect the swimming pool mixer to the EMS connection parallel to
the accessory which is already installed ( Chapter 6.8.1 on page
23).
6.8.7 Connecting MB LAN 2
The MB LAN 2 serves as interface between the heating system and a
network (LAN).
The MB LAN 2 can be used to control and monitor the heating system via
a mobile phone.
To be able to use the MB LAN 2, the following prerequisites must be met:
• Internet access is available.
• The RJ45 output of the router is available.
• The corresponding app is installed on the mobile phone.
Additional costs may be incurred when using the Internet access for the
MB LAN 2.
▶ Connect the MB LAN 2 to the following connections:
– Power supply for MB LAN 2 12 V
– EMS
(Chapter 12.4 on page 40 [3 and 6])
If an accessory is already connected at the EMS connection:
▶ Connect the MB LAN 2 to the EMS connection parallel to the
accessory which has already been installed ( Chapter 6.8.1 on
page 23).
