Aligning the Print Head
If ruled lines are printed misaligned, adjust the print head position.

With the printer on, load a sheet of Letter paper in the printer.
Move the paper thickness lever to the right position.

Open the Printer Properties dialog box.
See "OOpening the Printer Properties Dialog Box Directly from the Start Menu" on
page 22.

Print the pattern.
(1) Click the MMaintenance tab.
(2) Click PPrint Head Alignment.
(3) Click PPrint Head Alignment.
When the confirmation message is
displayed, click O
OK.
The Pattern will be Printed.
Note
Click C
Check Setting to
print the current
setting and finish the
operation.
(4) After the pattern is printed, click YYes.
