Recording Your Keyboard Play

You can use the procedure below to mute a recorded track
and then record to or play back the other track.
1.
Press bs SONG BANK.
2.
Use the bo dial to select a song you recorded.
3.
Press bn PART SELECT.
This causes “Trk1Mute” to appear on the display.
4.
Use the bo dial to select the track you want to
mute.
5.
Press bp ENTER.
Each press of bp ENTER toggles the selected track
between mute and unmute.
Muting a recorded track causes its track number to
disappear from the display.
Note that the number of a track that is not recorded
also is not shown on the display.
6.
Press bn PART SELECT.
You can use the procedures in this section to delete an entire
recorded song, or to delete a specific track of a recorded
song.
To delete a song
1.
Press bs SONG BANK.
2.
Use the bo dial to select the song number of
the song you want to delete.
3.
Hold down 5 RECORD/STOP.
4.
Use the bo dial to select “Song Clr”.
5.
Press bp ENTER.
This causes “Sure?” to appear on the display.
6.
Press bp ENTER again.
This deletes the song.
To cancel, long-press bp ENTER.
To delete a specific track
1.
Press bs SONG BANK.
2.
Use the bo dial to select the song that contains
the track you want to delete.
3.
Hold down 5 RECORD/STOP.
4.
Use the bo dial to select “Trk Clr”, and then
press bp ENTER.
5.
Use the bo dial to select the track you want to
delete.
6.
Press bp ENTER.
This causes “Sure?” to appear on the display.
7.
Press bp ENTER again.
This deletes the track.
To cancel, long-press bp ENTER.
You can use the procedure below to copy recorded song data
to a different song number.
To copy a recorded song
1.
Press bs SONG BANK.
2.
Use the bo dial to select the song you want to
copy.
3.
Long press 5 RECORD/STOP.
4.
Use the bo dial to select “SongCopy” and then
press bp ENTER.
5.
Use the bo dial to select the number of the
song you want to specify as the copy
destination, and then press bp ENTER.
This displays “Sure?”
If there is already song data recorded for the song
number you selected as the copy destination, the
message “Replace?” will appear.
6.
To execute the copy operation, press
bp ENTER.
To cancel the copy operation, long press bp ENTER.
