Warehouses/distribution centres
In warehouses and distribution centres, the S200 trucks can, for example, be used
for stacking goods in racking, separating blocks of pallets and to load and unload
lorries. In many a case, these trucks are also used for order picking or as a conve-
nient work table, e.g to price products. In warehouse applications, high producti-
vity is key to success. Operators are usually adept at truck operation and expect
a quick, exible truck with sturdy design. This is exactly what the S200 trucks
offer with the added possibility to adapt operator settings to individual experience.
These trucks have minimal external dimensions and a reinforced chassis for heavy-
duty applications in this kind of environment.
Shops/supermarkets
In shops and supermarkets, truck use usually is not that intensive, however ope-
rators want to use the trucks for many different applications, e.g. to unload goods
from lorries, stack it on shelves and even to use the forks as a work table when
placing products in the shop. Additionally, shops and supermarkets often have con-
ned space and low door openings. The L versions with elevating support arms is
an interesting truck option with impressive exibility. When opting for the Free lift
mast, the truck can pass through low door openings without compromising on the
high lift heights.
In shops and supermarkets, the trucks are often operated by inexperienced staff,
and they may even be left unattended on shop oors among customers and child-
ren. This environment requires an easy-to-use truck designed to prevent unauthori-
sed use. The S200 trucks feature simple operation, and they have a programmable
switch-off timer. If the operator leaves the truck unattended, it will switch off after
the programmed time, from one minute to four hours.
