Motor and power pack
The S200 trucks feature CESAB Drive control and use AC drive motors and DC
pump motors. The reason for using a DC motor for pump operation is primarily to
enable use of a less complicated motor controller compared with an AC motor.
Motor controller
All S200 models, except the S208L and S210, have a drive motor and pump motor
with integrated motor controller.
Feature
Integrated motor controller – the same
controller is used to control both the
drive motor and pump motor.
Benet
This enables reduction of the number of
electric components and thus the risk of
wear. Additionally, it introduces the pos-
sibility of controlling the motor revs.
Feature
Motor controllers with IP 65 classication.
Benet
The high IP classication of the motor controllers means they are well protected
against water and dust penetration.
