Warning
Use the child locks whenever
children are occupying the rear
seats.
To activate the child lock, insert the
key and turn the slot in the arrow
direction. Doors cannot be opened
from inside.
To deactivate the child lock, insert
the key and turn the slot in the
opposite direction. Doors can be
opened from inside.
Side Steps (If equipped)
The assist steps are available only
on some models.
It provides an extra support to
access the rear or front door.

Opening
Operate the button below the
license plate and lift the liftgate.
If the liftgate is open when the
ignition is switched on, a message
appears on the Driver Information
Center and the chime comes on.
