Parking
Apply the parking brake, engage P
and remove the ignition key.
Manual Mode
For right hand drive.
For left hand drive.
Move the selector lever out of
position D towards the left and then
forwards or backwards.
+ : Upshift
− : Downshift
If a higher gear is selected when the
vehicle speed is too low or a lower
gear when vehicle speed is too
high, the shift is not executed.
If the engine speed is too low, the
transmission automatically shifts to
a lower gear.
No automatic shifting to a higher
gear takes place at high engine
speed.
In case of rough gear changing,
shift up/down several times to
induce TCM shift pattern learning
and smooth gear changing.
Electronic Driving
Programs

Following a cold start, the
operating temperature program
increases engine speed to bring
the catalytic converter quickly to
the required temperature.
Kickdown
If the throttle pedal is pressed down
completely in automatic mode,
depending on the engine speed, the
transmission shifts to a lower gear.
Fault
In the event of a fault, the
malfunction indicator light
