Installing the VQE and Initially Configuring a
CDE
This chapter describes the initial installation of the Cisco VQE software application suite, and the initial
configuration of a CDE.

If you receive a new CDE250 go to the “Launching a New CDE250 for the First Time” section on

Launching a New CDE250 for the First Time
To launch a CDE250 for the first time, see “VQE Software Installation Types” section in the Release Notes
for Cisco CDA Visual Quality Experience Application Release 3.11.
Launching a New CDE280 for the First Time
For CDE280, you can use the CIMC to manage your device. To use the CIMC, you have to configure it.
