Troubleshooting Breakout Ports
The client port can be enabled in normal mode or breakout mode. When the client bit rate is 10G, the mode
is breakout mode. You must map a lane to a 10G port.
Before you begin
All the five client ports of the slice need to be configured with the same bit rate.
Step 1 show controllers optics R/S/I/P pm current 15-min optics lanenumber
Displays the PM data for the optics controller.
In the following example, Lane 1 is monitored within the Optics 0/1/0/0 corresponding to the 10G Ethernet controller
0/1/0/0/1.
Example:
