Theairbagsaredeployed,exceptthe
passenger'sfrontairbagifitisdeactivated,in
theeventofaseriousfrontimpacttoallorpart
ofthefrontimpactzoneA,inthelongitudinal
centreline of the vehicle on a horizontal plane
anddirectedfromthefronttotherearof
thevehicle.
Thefrontairbaginflatesbetweenthethorax
andheadofthefrontoccupantofthevehicle
andthesteeringwheel,driver'sside,andthe
dashboard,passenger'ssidetocushiontheir
forwardmovement.
Systemwhichprotectsthedriverandfront
passengerintheeventofaseriousfrontimpact
inordertolimittheriskofinjurytotheheadand
thorax.
Thedriver'sairbagisfittedinthecentreofthe
steeringwheel;thefrontpassenger'sairbagis
fittedinthedashboardabovetheglovebox.
Onlythepassenger'sfrontairbagcanbe
deactivated.
F With the ignition off,insertthekeyinthe
passengerairbagdeactivationswitch.
F Turn it to the "OFF"position.
F Removethekeykeepingtheswitchinthe
newposition.
