vehicle'scontactsurfaceiscentredon
theheadofthejack.Otherwisethereis
ariskofdamagetothevehicleand/orof
thejackdropping-Riskofinjury!
Fitting a wheel
Fitting the "space-saver"
spare wheel
Ifyourvehicleisfittedwithalloywheels,
whentighteningtheboltsonfitting,it
isnormaltonoticethatthewashers
donotcomeintocontactwiththe
"space-saver"sparewheel.Thewheel
issecuredbytheconicalsurfaceof
eachbolt.
After changing a wheel
Tocorrectlystorethepuncturedwheel
in the boot (not in the location of the
space-saver wheel),firstremovethe
centralcover.
Whenusingthe"space-saver"type
sparewheel,donotexceed50mph
(80km/h).
Havethetighteningoftheboltsandthe
pressureofthesparewheelchecked
byaCITROËNdealeroraqualified
workshopwithoutdelay.
Havethepuncturedwheelrepaired
andrefittedtothevehicleassoonas
possible.
