Inserting the Battery
1. Slide the rear cover in the direction of the
arrow, and remove it.
2. Insert the CR2025 battery bundled with the
remote control unit in the directions shown in
the figure, then close the rear cover.
Note:
Using battery improperly can cause it to explode.
Take note of the following points:
• Do not short-circuit, disassemble or heat battery.
• Do not dispose of battery into fire or flames.
• Dispose of spent battery properly.
Functions of Remote Control Unit Buttons
Note:
• some functions is differ depeding on the disc’s type.
[SOURCE] button
•Press to switch the source modes such as
Radio mode, DVD mode, etc.
•Press and hold to turn off the power.
•Press to turn on the power.
[RETURN] button
•Press to return to the previous screen while the
DVD menu is being displayed. However, it may
occur that this button operation dose not work
on some discs (in DVD Video mode).
[ENT] button
•Press to fix the selected menu item on the DVD
menu (in DVD Video mode).
•Press and hold to input DVD menu number (in
DVD video mode).
[SET UP] button
•Press to switch the set up menu (in DVD video
mode).
Note:
• This button should be operated for the source unit
not for the wired remote control unit.
[ ] button
•Press to turn the mute on or off (in Radio and
Satellite modes).
•
Press to play or pause video and audio media (in
CD/MP3/WMA/AAC/DivX, DVD, USB modes).
• Keep pressing more than 1 second to stop video
playback (in DVD video and DivX modes).
[AUDIO] button
•Press to set the Audio language (in DVD video
and DivX modes).
[SUB TITLE] button
•Press to set the subtitle language (in DVD
video and DivX modes).
[ANGLE] button
•Press to set the Angle function of the DVD
video (in DVD Video mode).
[x], [v] buttons
•Press to select the next lower or higher preset
station (in Radio and Satellite modes).
•Press to select the next lower or higher chapter
number (in DVD Video mode).
•
Press to select the next lower or higher track (in CD/
MP3/WMA/AAC/DivX, and USB/iPod modes).
• Keep pressing to perform fast backward or fast
forward playback (in CD/MP3/WMA/AAC/DivX,
DVD, and USB/iPod modes).
[MENU] button
•Press to display the DVD menu stored on the
DVD video disc (in DVD Video mode).
[w], [z] buttons
•Press to select desired menu item displayed on
the DVD menu (in DVD Video mode).
•Press to select a folder (in MP3/WMA/AAC/
DivX and USB mode).
•Press to select a disc (in CD changer mode).
[X], [V] buttons
•Press to select des
ired menu item displayed on
the DVD menu (in DVD Video mode).
[VOL –], [VOL +] buttons
•Decreases or increases the volume.
[BAND] button
• Switches reception bands (in Radio and
Satellite modes).
•Press to select the first track (in MP3/WMA/
AAC/DivX, CD changer and USB modes).
•Press and hold to switch to next disc in
ascending order while in the CD changer
mode.
