Port Capability
Click the selection button on the far left that corresponds to the port you want to
configure and click the Next button. This will open the Port Capability Settings -
Edit menu.

To configure 802.1x Port Capability for a port, select the port to be configured and determine the (802.1x) port capability.
Click the Apply button to configure the capability.
Parameter Description
Port
Select the port or lowest number of the group of ports being configured.
Capability
Select the following:
Authenticator − A user must pass the authentication process to gain access to the
network.
None − The port is not controlled by the 802.1x functions.
Configure Ports from __ to __
A consecutive group of ports may be configured starting with the selected port.
