1.4.3 Dehumidification Mode (Option)
Dehumidification operation reduces the internal
relative humidity using the reheat coil that heats up
the air cooled by the evaporator.
Heat source of the reheat coil, like the defrosting
operation, uses high temperature refrigerant (hot
gas) discharged from the compressor.
This control is optional, and available for only the
unit equipped with a reheat coil.
The unit equipped with a reheat coil is set to "ON"
at factory referring to ＊12 Configuration Setting in
paragraph 2.3.
●Setting for dehumidification operation
To execute dehumidification operation, selecting
the dehumidification operation set to "ON", (ON-A),
or (Bulb) is necessary.
ON: When dehumidification operation is executed
ONｰA* : When dehumidification operation is executed
for the unit without humidity sensor
Bulb* : When dehumidification operation is executed
in the Bulb mode
OFF: When dehumidification operation is not executed

After the settings are
complete, DEHUMID
will appear at the right
side of the screen.
● LED display
The DEHUMID indicator (yellow) lights.
●Dehumidification Operation
Dehumidification operation starts when the
following conditions are met during modulated
cooling in the chilled mode.
Hu＞Setting Hu＋7%
& SP−0.7℃＜SS＜SP＋0.7℃
& RS≦SP＋2.0℃
The above conditions are satisfied continuously for
10 minutes.
When dehumidification operation starts, it supplies
hot gas to the reheat coil. EFM runs at high speed.
Dehumidification Control
Modulated Cooling in Chilled
・Hu＞Setting Hu＋7%
・& SP−0.7℃＜SS＜SP＋0.7℃
・& RS≦SP＋2.0℃
The above conditions are satisfied
continuously for 10 minutes.
・Hu ＜ Setting Hu + 7% continuously for 24 hours
・SS ≧ SP ＋ 1.0℃ & Out of range (upper limit)
continuously for 10 minutes*

・SS ≧ SP ＋ 4.0℃ continuously for 10 minutes
・SS ＜ SP − 1.0℃ continuously for 20 minutes*

・SS ＜ SP − 1.0℃ & compressor speed is 20 rps
continuously for 20 minutes.*

Any of the above conditions are satisfied.
* : Excepted under the following conditions
① Within 3 hours after dehumidifying operation starts
●Cancellation of Dehumidification operation
1) Set dehumidification operation to "OFF"
2) 72 hours elapse after power OFF
3) F-PTI completed
4) Chilled PTI completed
5) Frozen PTI completed
