3.6.1 4-** Limits and Warnings
Parameter group for configuring limits and warnings.
3.6.2 4-1* Motor Limits
Define torque, current and speed limits for the motor, and
the
reaction of the frequency converter when the limits are
exceeded.
A limit may generate a message on the display. A warning
will always generate a message on the display or on the
fieldbus. A monitoring function may initiate a warning or a
trip, upon which the frequency converter will stop and
generate an alarm message.
4-10 Motor Speed Direction
Option: Function:
Selects the motor speed direction required.
Use
this parameter to prevent unwanted
reversing.
[0] Clockwise Only operation in clockwise direction will
be
allowed.
[2] * Both directions Operation in both clockwise and anti-
clockwise
direction will be allowed.
NOTE
The
setting in 4-10 Motor Speed Direction has impact on
the Flying Start in 1-73 Flying Start.

[RPM]. Only 4-11 Motor Speed Low Limit
[RPM] or 4-12 Motor Speed Low Limit [Hz]
will be displayed depending on other
parameters in the Main Menu and
depending on default settings dependant
on global location.
NOTE
Max.
output frequency cannot exceed 10% of the inverter
switching frequency (14-01 Switching Frequency).
NOTE
Any
changes in 4-13 Motor Speed High Limit [RPM] will reset
the value in 4-53 Warning Speed High to the same value as
set in 4-13 Motor Speed High Limit [RPM].
