Supplies Tab
The Supplies tab of the Printer Properties window shows the supplies installed in the printer,
including the type of supply, the estimated percentage remaining, the part number, and a
description of the supply.
1. Open the Printer Properties window and click the Supplies tab.
2. The date and time the information was retrieved from the printer displays in the lower-left
area of the tab. To get the latest information from the printer, click Ask Printer for Update.
The supplies information that displays is determined by the type of printer and any
additional installed components.
If your printer is part of a printer pool:
Supply information is not available. You can view supply information for
individual printers in the pool using Printer Manager. Refer to your printer’s
Installation and Administrator’s Guide for complete information about using
Printer Manager.
The Ask Printer for Update button is unavailable.
